Our Vision

The HASHPPAC will collaborate across diverse sectors of our community to develop a city-wide system that gives our youth hope for the future, and opportunity to reach their goals. The committee will work for providing medically accurate, comprehensive sexual health education to our youth. We will lay the foundation for providing Holyoke’s teens with the capacity for making healthy choices and the opportunity for accessible sexual health services and information. The accountability committee aims for a Holyoke that offers each youth a well rounded education, access to services, and community engagement that contributes to the success of our city and its residents.

summer plans

The HASHPP task force has formed three main committees: Education, Access, and Community Engagement. We are working on each committee's goals for the summer to jumpstart the upcoming fiscal year. The next task force meeting will be on September 27th and it will consist of a core group of 9-11 members. This core group will meet on a monthly basis to discuss the progress in the three areas and will vote on pertinent information to accomplish the goals. The three committees will meet on a monthly basis, not including the core task force meeting. If anyone is interested in joining one (or more) of the committees, please email egreenfield@yeahnetwork.org for information. Upcoming posts will be made about the committee goals, progress, accomplishments, and what else can be done.
